ampersand
there is no better songwriter on the planet, dead or alive, than joanna newsom.
eFestivals
oh would you look at what someone wrote just a couple days ago. and if you want to search her name in my posts, you'll find that i've raved about her for years and she has been THE one person i've wanted to play glastonbury over anyone else. think it's a shame that either she doesn't want to play or a travesty that she hasn't been asked to play. but yeah, as long as you think you know me better due to your selective memory, that's fine I see you've yet again completely ignored all the 100% certain stuff I've said and thrown in yet another an irrelevance. I'll say it again: you've shown a preference for rock over other genres. Just because you happen to like Joanna (cock led, I'll bet ) says nothing of other things you also like. Nor does it say what genres you most prefer; nor does it address to even the smallest extent all the other 100% certain things I've said. But you go on thinking you've stuffed me, and that I'm denigrating your opinion. Anything else just wouldn't be Scottish.
ampersand
you've stuffed yourself cos you've been talking out your ringpiece this entire thread. you've wanted a day of confrontation, and you've got it. well played. and i like how you call it an irrelevance when it throws a spanner into the works! eFestivals
and even if the answer was yes, why would that change anything. my opinion of which is more friendlier matters little in relation to that. as you clearly have a mind like a goldfish, this is the point where I give in. It's impossible to have a sensible discussion with someone where so little actually goes in.
Pogues Mcgogues
So worn down. This was meant to be a light hearted happy thread. I thought I'd get two or three responses at most.

Pogues Mcgogues
that's what people always say when they blurt something out without having thought about what they've said or written if everyone else understood the sarcasm, why are you so frustrated

eFestivals
It's more the opinion of rock crowds being universally friendly which got discussed. Then an argument between myself and Ben v's Neil on universal truth, age and who liked who at Glasto. What you mean is, ben agreed with you, and then you were happy with that deep 'discussion'. MrZigster
The word "Jobby" coming from the Scottish for poo, a "Jobby Jabber" concerns the act of sneaking up behind a friend/foe while pressing both hands together into a "praying" position, then forcibly ramming pointed fingers up the (fully clothed) arse of said friend/foe, shouting "JOBBY JABBER!". Remember to run away to avoid violent repurcussions; laughing is optional. "AAAAAAGH! NOBODY JOBBY JABS ME AND GETS AWAY WITH IT!"

ampersand
Well, that's hardly friendly is it? Anyone did that to me and I'd have them up for sexual assault. Why have you named yourself after a form of sexual assault? I've wondered this for a while. You might as well call yourself "uninvited arse groper" or something. MrZigster
it's only a form of sexual assault to about 12 people. everyone else knows what jobby jabber means.
MrZigster
Cause then folk won't call me pogo. Although it hasn't worked. And I thought Jobby Jabber sounded funny at the time!
Pogues Mcgogues
You what now? Only about 12 people would consider someone ramming their fingers uninvited up their rectum sexual assault? I would have presumed Jobby Jabber meant one of two things, the obvious, or, at a stretch, a north of the border term for "shit stirrer" (which would be appropriate on these boards), but surely Pogo spells out what he means by JJ in his sig. Am I missing something here? Over to you JJ.
