Ben, I merely responded to his BBC remark by disputing it and showing him an aspect of the BBC that would be contrary to this opinion. He didn't amend his remark to mean Radio1, but simply said it was a stupid comment. He said BBC ... I honestly assumed he meant the BBC, because, erm, thats what he said!

i think people are just not getting that radio 1 isn't for them anymore. i'm seeing that the majority of complainers are middle aged, or thereabouts. of course you're not going to like radio 1. it's like me complaining about the output on cbbc not being my bag.

you listened to radio 1 when you were younger, and now listen to other things. i listened to radio 1 when i was younger, and am on the transition to other things. and the kids that listen now will experience the exact same things in 10-20 years time.
