I can never understand why people say that removing the deposit will stop people being able to afford to go, the amount of money paid is the same either way, and after the deposit (which is less than 25% of the cost), you have to pay the rest in one go, not in a number of small amounts. Its all about planning. Its the same amount of money out of your yearly income whenever you have to pay it. I just don't get it.
When we talk about 'Industry Plant', Post Malone is the perfect candidate. In early 2015, he was doing the American talk show circuit. I saw him on Jimmy Kimmel around April to talk about his new single, his FIRST single, which came out 4 months later, he'd never released anything prior to that.
And now, look at how his albums drooped off (Sales UK & US combined):
2016: White Iverson -- 600,000 copies
2018: Beerbongs & Bentleys -- 1,100,000 copies
2019: Hollywood's Bleeding -- 1,200,000 copies
2022: Twenty Carat Toothache 150,000 copies
2023: Austin -- 90,000 copies
2024: F1 Trillion -- 140,000 copies
Re. Lana - I may have used the wrong term, not older crowd, but OG music enjoyers, not the kids that turn up to drink in tents on a lads holiday and smash things
