It has to be said we had an absolutely incredible time at EOTR! In fact we're probably still suffering withdrawal symptoms. It might just be the best festival in the world.

hey another nice review - i complimented you on the review you put on the latitude forum (you went superbly and deservedly OTT for the National) and this one is at least as good.

look forward to the photos by lanterns on the lake and woodpigeon.

btw, unless you knew about hot spicy cider you could definitely misinterpret this phrase of your review: "that had everyone in the Big Top throwing down some hot and spicy cider-inspired shapes". daaang those hot and spicy shapes

quick edit: error in your review - there was no Neko at New Pornos, only (!) the beautiful kathryn calder. in fact one of my only :angry: moments of the festival was the tosser heckling *wheres neko*. as you'd expect it got the most subtle of put downs from AC *its blowing in the wind my friend*.

Cheers riverlodge - I had a funny feeling it wasn't Neko, but we were right at the back and consumed a few ales by then, so i took a punt with the review (and lost!). Thanks for the feedback - We're hoping to get the lanterns and woodpigeon photos up soon.

Out of interest - Which other festivals have you been to this year? Any recommendations?

standon calling looks very nice. i have looked at it a few times .

no probs - as you can tell i'm bit of a kathryn calder fan, so didnt miss Neko too much, and was one off the front to be able to tell properly!

not sure i'm the right person to ask about other festivals, other than EOTR and Latitude did green man (excellent). wanted to go to to Standon Calling and/or Offset but couldnt (missus "can't camp wont camp" so limitations on pass outs) so can't comment.

plenty on here seem to have been to loooads of festivals by comparison, so hopefully you will get some feedback.
