Tickets resale

So I've left it far too late to register, and I won't even know if i can go for a while yet anyway, but apparently the tickets go back on sale at some point next year. Is this true, when is it, are they the same price and is it ridiculously hard to get one?

Not too late to register - registration is still open until 9am tomorrow. If you're not sure if you can go it would still be worth putting down a deposit to guarantee your ticket. If it turns out that you really can't go, then all you will pay is a tenner for not paying the balance...small price to pay I would have thought

As for resales...it won't be until after the first week of April when they know how many people aren't taking up their option to buy. So you could expect that it would be end of April/early May. How difficult it will be to get a ticket then would depend on how many were available and whether the headline acts have been revealed, so impossible to say. A few big names could cause a big demand for the last few tickets.It would certainly be more difficult than getting one on Sunday I would say.

there are sometimes small re-sales shortly after ticket day when duplications etc have been cancelled - can't remember what happened with this last year though?

no, the resales are same price. But they are announced with little warning so keep on your toes

as the time to pay the balance is between 1st and 7th of April, I doubt the resale will be until after that.

Resale hasn't been announced, so don't listen to anyone who says they know when it is. It'll be reasonably soon after April 7th. I would guess the 8th or 10th, but look out for announcements in early April.

Glastonbury technically haven't sold a single ticket, it's only deposits. I believe last year there was a huge amount of people who didn't pay off their remaining balance, so given that this year EVERYONE is on the deposit system, then that's going to increase in number. I also imagine they hold a small amount back to add to the new onsale, as well as unsold corporate packages, etc...

Anyone know why you can't pay for the ticket before April? Seems mad that you can't go online and pay the balance now or any other day between now and April.
