Muse almost certain?

They said at the end of the Wembley shows that they wouldn't be playing in the UK for a long time, so I think that's the end of The Resistance Tour over here. To be honest, there's nothing really exciting about them playing festivals anymore, they've played every major UK festival within the last 3 years.

I don't see the point of booking an act that's done the festivals this year as well as there own massive gigs. I'd rather an act that doesn't play too regular.

On the Black Holes tour they played everywhere, then pretty much disappeared for a year before playing what was pretty much a one off headline appearance at V2008. If they repeated this again, then R/L is certainly a possibility. Personally, unless they were forced to play a proper career spanning set, rather than the forumlaic sets they've been playing of late, I wouldn't really want them headlining, but I think it's very possible, especially as they can shift lots of tickets.

They have put on a great show at Glasto I don't see why they shouldn't be at Reading. I would love it so much, hopefully forum conversation can inspire some awareness and get them on the bill for next year.

I think I'd prefer them headlining NME tent one night, against a newer 'heavier' headliner.

Don't care what anyone says I still think they're amazing & there's no doubt they'd be a massive draw for the festival.
