If it's just festivals...

1. Rage Against The Machine @ Ragefactor

2. Arcade Fire @ Reading

3. Ozzy @ Ozzfest

4. Skindred @ Slam Dunk & Ozzfest (Slam Dunk was better)

5. Capdown @ Slam Dunk

6. Streetlight Manifesto @ Reading

7. Korn @ Ozzfest

8. Skints @ Reading & Slam Dunk (Reading was better)

9. Marner Brown @ Wimbledon Calling (mainly because 80's Matchbox B-Line Diseaster & Dogs were huge let downs and a band I never herd of before shat on every other band playing)

10. Dizzee Rascal @ Reading

Also Gogol Bordello @ Reading & Ragefactor (too many new songs in the set otherwise would be in top 10), Kasms @ Camden Crawl, Gaslight Anthem @ Reading, Billy Bragg @ Ben & Jerry's and finally Dan Le Sac vs. Scroobious Pip @ Camden Crawl.

I couldn't get the time off for any other festivals, and worked @ Reading + spent my spare time getting drunk with the night shift and failing to see almost every band. I saw one, Blink 182.

It pretty much made my summer, because this was the year I finally had to grow up and get a sharp kick up the arse from the real world, and it was nice in a bittersweet kind of way to listen to a band that epitomised the feel of when I was growing up.
