As a women I never found it sexist nor offensive. It was just harmless fun?? What is wrong with people appreciating the female form?

Fair enough if the admin guy told the poster to stop because it was causing offensive to others. But this is the internet, please let it be free.

Speaking as a new member & woman.... It's appreciated! Not the most friendly thing to stumble upon (particually in a forum for Glastonbury - surposedly a festival that supports equality and freedom)!!

Thanks you for your post - maybe your own w2ords will get thru to some of the overly-thick skulls around here where my own have failed.

I know from complaints received that you're not the only one who feels like that.

Devonhammer claims he has been banned from here?

http://forum.netweather.tv/topic/69427-glastonbury-2011/page__st__102

..... and having seen his further post over there, it's not only him that likes a good lie, it seems it's netweather themselves too. And I guess the reason for their own lie is that they didn't like being told that their weather forecasts are worse than Metcheck's - which they certainly were when I did a comparison.

So against the statements of lies, here's a bit of truth back at them.... eFestivals does not have "a commercial relationship with metcheck" and never ever has done. This website used to feature Metcheck's weather forecasts, but hasn't done for however many years (3+ at least I think) since the main part of this website changed from having a green pages to the design it has now.

The childishness of some knows no bounds it seems. :(

Can you not just say why you have banned him ? no need to be cryptic, I've had a look back and all i can see off him are usfeull posts and some very helpfull information.

I can't tell you why I've banned him BECAUSE HE HAS NOT BEEN BANNED.

What part of that are you finding so difficult to understand?

You often talk of your comparisons between the two site's forecasts however just because metcheck was correct for the location/day you were looking for doesn't mean that nationally it's more accurate?

Unless of course your comparison was done using stats based upon a year's worth of forecasts...

Also I do feel as if devonhammer has been harshly treated especially as he was an excellent contributor to this thread.

It wasn't a day that they were compared for, but for about 2 weeks. It's not possible to do a national comparison cos I'm not in an infinite number of places at once.

Devonhammer hasn't been treated harshly. He's barely been 'treated' at all.

Right I'm not on here much but I'm now leaving here for good, not liking the censorship angle one little bit.

Bye...
