Last shoutout and Hello from the the efests representatives (me and festivaldeb) of Info Crew here. We'll be working at Info Point West (Other Stage) 9 pm to 1 am next Thursday, and 1 pm to 5 pm Friday (a well as other shifts -- including that we'll be Review Selling at Gate 'Hill of Death' C, the final Monday, 12:30 to 5(ish)).

Come and see us! Also hope to be at Cider Bus meetups for a bit....

We're heading off to Glastonbury (Town) today, Sat, at around 10 am. Camping at Isle of Avalon campsite tonight, (after the Riflemans with a very good friend). Then onto main site Sunday pm. Have no gadgets to post on here from there unfortunately, but Gerry1tiime of Worthy FM (a mate) is there already and has told us the site is pretty damp/soft/soggy after yesterday's rain but mostly not too m*ddy apart from in corners here and there.

Today, showers am is best guess, this afternoon, mostly but not completely dry, tomorrow with luck will be completely dry (albeit never warm).

It's all about whether there's heavy rain on Mon and Tues (please not :O:( ) -- looks more showery for those days at this stage.

I'm CAUTIOUSLY (with all the usual caveats and provisos) feeling temporarily reprieved from Victor Hugoesque Last Day of a Condemned Man status FOR NOW -- lets hope the improvemeent for the maon part of the festival locks in and intensifies over coming updates. And that any possible badness for the last Sunday gets killed off ... til after Tuesday hopefully! We want to stay for last Monday crew parties ...

Have a truly great time EVERYBODY -- even greater if we get

Here, we've had almost 24 hours of continuous rain... really p!ssing it down... and this morning the gale force winds started.

I can only assume that this is a necessary suffering in order to get all this sh!t weather out of the way before next week.

Can't be any worse than this.

Surely!

Right - I'm no expert, infact I'm not even a novice, but looking at the GFS and ECM charts on netweather this morning I reckon we have following.

Up until the festival opens it's doors on wednesday there will be some rain, and some sun - so hard to know how muddy it will be at start but I think it will definately be welly weather, but don't think the mud will be that horrible deep stuff you can get like in 97/98/07.

On wednesday may be a bit windy for pitching tents - and there may be some showers or rain too - so not too pleasant -- but see it as a challenge!

Thursday may be a bit of rain too - but not too much - and should be feeling a bit warmer and less windy.

Friday and saturday looking like the best days - may be pleasantly warm, just hope ground dries - I think it will although maybe not completely around busy areas.

Both models have lows arriving, GFS on sat night and sunday which will bring quite a bit of rain, ECM it doesn't really arrive till the monday, although may feel it's affect on sunday. So could be a wet end to the festival - although this is still far away in forecasting terms so this low could head north and miss sw england.
