strudders
The sun is shining with a nice drying wind here on the south coast, however I have the worlds worst hangover and therefor don't care. If I live to get to Glastonbury then I might start careing again but I doubt it I will. Please shoot me or something. Gin's bad m kayyy don't do gin.. rischbrit
I'm not fussed at this stage if the temps aren't as high as last year - I own jumpers & coats. As long as it's dry & I can get my car out of the car park on Monday morning I'd be happy.
strummer77
The amount of rain between now and wednesday is crucial to how muddy it is going to be, so I think it is fair enough for people to make predictions on what they're seeing today. Problem is it is not easy to predict how much is going to fall the next few days as is foecast is for isolated rain/showers. Looking like tomorrow and tuesday mostly dry - the important day could be monday as it could be quite wet.
danbailey80
But we've seen in previous years how quickly mud can dry up with a bit of sun like 2008/09 Edited June 18, 2011 by danbailey80

strummer77
a bit of wind will make a lot of difference if it's dry and windy, it'll dry out really quickly

podge52
I'm going down Monday morning as i'm working so i will update on here as to whether there's mud, solid ground etc. I do think that it'll be good no matter what the weather and if you do happen to need cheering up come and see biggles wartime band up in croissant neuf field. They 'll make the blues go away.
Hinkersbyname
I've just put my tent up in the garden for the annual check and it started hammering it down here (including HAIL) - I had to carry on regardless as the inside would have got wet without the top sheet on - needless to say I'm soaked and slightly battered...is that a sacrifice enough?! Spindles
IS this thread for discussing what the weather is likely to do, or what we want it to do. Seems I've misunderstood it. Edited June 18, 2011 by Spindles
briddj
Yea but current forecasts are showing temps will be around 8-10degC down on those years. I think it very much depends on the amount of rain we have today and on Monday. As to much and temps in the mid teens will never dry it all out by wednesday. redrog
Looks pretty much like I'd expect it to. Nothing that some wind and a break from the rain can't cure.

steviewevie
Well- you should have seen the puddles in 2005!!! and a few days later the site was pretty dry...so as long as not much more rain, and some windy, sunny days, reckon all will be fine...although saying that more rain arriving monday apparently. Monorail
I think it is a bit of both, isn't it? I like your posts better than Tommmy's, I also like that your name basically means "joke that was only funny once and now has been pushed too far, beyond the point that anyone can ever remember it being funny in the first place". On some forums the regular posters of sensible comments have an alternate account for trolling, here it is the other way round
