Seetickets lost order

Hi all,

On Sunday I managed to get tickets for all 9 of our party, an order of 8 and an order of 1. I took screengrabs of the 'thank you for your order page that shows the 8x£50 and the 1x£50.

I never received an order confirmation email for either so phoned See tonight who advised me that not all notification emails were sent automatically but also that my order for the one ticket doesn't exist, it must have been a system error and there is nothing they can ( or want?) to do about it.

Any ideas who or how I need to approach to get the 2nd order for the obe ticket honoured? The screen grabs I have seem to show a transaction number in the URL, but the person I spoke to had no idea about this and stated it wasn't relevant.

Any help appreciated.

The reference number should be an eight digit number beginning with a '1' or a '2'. That's the only number that means anything. Ask them to check if the registration number for the single ticket has been used. If it has, then you've got an order somewhere, if not, then unfortunately the order wasn't processed. Normally due to a timeout while trying to process the order, a timeout accessing the funds from your account, a block by the bank or insufficient funds. I assume it's not the latter.

If the order has failed to go through, try putting a complaint in writing to Seetickets (address is on their website). That's all you can do, nobody on the end of the phone has access to tickets to book another.
