London is looking for 8,000 London Ambassadors to welcome visitors from all over the world to the capital during the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. We’re looking for volunteers with fantastic people skills who are passionate about the capital. Remember, there's no Glastonbury in 2012 so this is your chance to be part of something equally as great.

As well as a once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of the 2012 Games, you’ll receive full training, free travel for each day you volunteer, a uniform that you can keep, as well as food and refreshments during your shift.

It has a fallow year, which should have been 2011. But they have moved it to 2012.. to coincide with the Olympics even though they are a month after Glastonbury!
