ticket dilemma, info needed.

hi, i've planned for 2 years to go to Glastonbury 2011 for my stag night. so it's an "all in - or none in" affair.

unfortunately, i only managed to buy 7 of the 20 tickets i needed.

now the dilemma, do i keep these tickets i've already got and punt for the re-sale in April, at which point i will have £1400 worth of tickets which won't be refundable if i don't get the remaining 14 i need?

or do i give up the tickets i already have and try for the whole 20 again after April? problem is, will i be able to repurchase with the 7 registrations i initially got tickets with along with the other 14, or will i be refused tickets again on the grounds that they will have already been used for purchasing???

Very confusing isn't it???

any info will be much appreciated.

you have until Sometime in May to cancel and get a refund......so I would keep the ones you have and try for the others in April.

If you still dont manage to get the number you should still be able to cancel and not be more than £10 per ticket out of pocket :D

Good luck in the resales!!

Yep, as above...kepp the 7 tickets (refund deadline is after the resale in May), and try to get the extras you need...if you cancel them you won't be able to use your reg number again (but could re-register)...still, 14 ticetks are easier to get than 20!...keep an eye out for a sneaky resale over the next week or so, then the official resale in April and then there's usually one more in may after the cancellation date...so at least 2 maybe 3 more attempts left (obviously with significantly fewer tickets on offer!)...good luck! :)

I needed to get a ticket for a mate this year.

Due to the supposedly low number available and the fact that U2 had been confirmed , along with the

40 th etc and the likes of Muse being rumours I thought it would be really hard.

But come 9.00 am on resale day , I was straight through and got one !

:)
