it was one of the things turned off for Glastonbury ticket day, but it's been turned back on since.

I've just checked the settings and everything about it is set as it's meant to be, including the setting that says "Auto hide when no birthdays to show?". I just briefly turned it back on to check, and if it's switched on it merely says "no member has a birthday today" for today.

It's returned today to the front of the forums.

Now either no members has had a birthday since 11th October, or some setting wasn't right somewhere.

Weird it has returned now though, maybe something to do with it being a new month?

It was defo the case that there were no birthdays on the day I'd previously checked it, so it wouldn't have been showing that day.

I can't say I've noticed since whether it was displaying or not, but if I take what you've said as correct I'd guess it wasn't showing due to a bug in the software - the forums software was upgraded yesterday, so I'd guess that issue has been sorted out in the new version.
