Yeah, that would be some lineup. I would be happy with one of those. It would be a PR disaster to do a survey with those sort of names and then end up with the same names as Truck and YNot.
I think if they want to grow the festival bigger headliners is the way to get people to travel especially without camping on site. I agree that the undercard might suffer but who is going to pay a fortune in travel and hotel costs to see the sort of names that are likely to play much nearer to you.
To be fair to them, it’s the strongest lineup including undercard I have seen in that price range. Of course that is subjective. All in All, I have been really impressed with the Superstruct festivals.
The bigger winner for me is that KOL & QOTSA are acts, I pay to see their own shows. I usually do Truck and Victorious and so like the idea of them going in different directions in headliners.
it will be very interesting to see who they fo get in 2026.
What have you lost at Glastonbury Festival? Were you ever reunited with your lost item?
Back in 2013 I managed to lose my hearing aid on the Wednesday, possibly on entering the festival as I had to remove my sunglasses when my ticket was checked. It was mid afternoon before I realised so we trekked up to Lost Property and made a report. Waited a few weeks before going to the Audiology Clinic who kindly put in motion a free replacement.
The replacement was fitted in early September, the very next day I received a small package from Glastonbury Festival and yes it was my lost hearing aid! All it needed was a new battery. I now have several spares which are always in my possession. I also wear DeafMetal hearing aid retainers these days which are a fantastic accessory, these also work with Apple air pods - https://www.deafmetal.store/
PS - Do get your hearing checked, I lost mine in 2005 due to Ménière's disease, not as I suspected a lifetime of going to gigs and festivals! I now wear Bluetooth enabled hearing aids that I can stream music and phone calls to, they are much better than the NHS ones I started my hearing loss journey with.
Make a report via Email - [email protected] And remember to use the lock ups!
