They should've been included somewhere in the Total Guitar mags riffs of the decade for sure.

Mr. Brightside by The Killers number 9. First time Ive seen a riffless song make a best riffs list.

Its like awarding Robert Miles "Children" a best lyrics award.

Yet again, journalism proves its in the bin as a profession.

I loved the first Darkness album, cheesy as f**k but some great tunes. Kinda lost interest as they got bigger.

They were moved up the lineup when someone dropped out in 2003, then they headlined the Saturday the year after. They were shite. Both times.

The 1st Darkness album always remind me of annoying girl I went to Reading festival with that refused to listen to the slow song as it was boring but would then shriek her f**king head off to I Believe In A Thing Called Love in our camp. I hate it when mates get shit girlfriends.

The Leeds headlining slot - when they were actually booked as headliners - had a few songs that had no lyrics, and were generally unfinished. Except for that it was a lot of fun.

"Bring Me Some Meat" was a personal favourite
