Speaking of girls from soaps by mate went out drinking and he's in a group with a few pretty but f**king boring girls so he goes outside and says "what's with these girls, they're like cupboard cut outs from Hollyoaks" to which he gets the response "4 of them are from Hollyoaks"

Never really met anyone famous but I'd like to meet Robert Downey Jr and Iggy Pop. And maybe the guy who plays Kenneth from 30 Rock, I'd ask him to show me the Donkey Spell.

Of the list of people others have met I would choose Joan Rivers, she's ace plus she called Russell Crowe a c**t on tv. Bill Clinton close second.

I met Simon Amstell outside a Coldplay gig at Earls Court in 2003. He was doing a bit for T4 and had to reshoot it as my mate shouted "look lads, its that curly haired twat from T4", he did not look amused

Also met Serge and Tom from Kasabian at V2004, they played really low down on the second stage and LSF had only just come out. Me and my brother went to watch them and then went to watch someone on the mainstage, walking back to the the second stage and we werent looking where we were going and bumped into two fellas and beer went flying everywhere. Turned out to be Tom and Serge, all soaked we started laughing I told them I really enjoyed the set, Tom then asked if we were there for the full weekend, we said yes to which Tom replied something along the lines of "have a great one and make sure your flying by the end of the night"...Really cool guys back then, bet theyve got some right attitude nowadays.

I've met numerous famous folks over the years but the ones who stood out...

I met Bruce Dickenson when I was 15 or something. My pals were around him and he was talking away to them and realised I wasn't saying anything. He must of thought I was star struck or something and said something like 'are you a maiden fan then?' or something and I replied 'yous are alright' to which he looked a bit bemused. My friend loved him so went up and got him a drink, he went up and said 'here man I got you this' and then just walked away cause he was too shy to talk to him!

Backstage at Download two years ago I met the bassist from Fightstar. I was chatting away saying I'd seen them quite a few times and said they were always good live. They had played a gig in Glasgow that I had seen them (XFM winter wonderland with Stereophonics headlining, the crowd weren't into them at all and were just standing still). I brought that gig up and said 'do you remember it', he said 'yeah that was so good, such an awsome gig' and I replied 'nah it wasn't man, the crowd were shit when you guys were on'. I didn't realise how much a prick that made me sound and he just went 'ah I've got to go' and walked away.

One time that didn't end in disaster, we found a backstage pass for CSS in the Barras lying on the ground on the way in. I went up and gave it to the guy from CSS who was behind the tshirt stand. He was so relieved (think it was their pal who lost it) and he gave us free drink, free tshirts and invited us to the aftershow. We didn't buy drinks all night, we got them bought from us from the bassist out of Franz Ferdinand and the guitarist who were well nice guys. Sat next to the two of them, the guy from CSS and some members of the 1990s!

Met 3/5ths of maximo park outside the garage in glasgow (Well outside mr chips specifically :P )

Alex Kapranos picked me up off the ground at a Cribs gig in the Admiral

My mates ran into the guy who plays Robin Hood (BBC Series) when they were out recently and became his best mate. There's a picture on facebook of one of my mates spoon feeding him noodles in a taxi after they all got thrown out :P

Best one is Snoop Dogg on a ferry to France. We also queued behind his dad for breakfast.

Had my 18th at that years (2005) NME awards tour aftershow party in The Oxford in Manchester.

Then a load of Yorkshire/England cricketers and a few footballers. Claim to fame is bowling the current Yorkshire captain at a nets session in Cleckheaton.
