The Doves

Earlier this year the Doves announced that they would be taking an indefinite hiatus, and yet today they announce they will be headlining a festival in Australia. Now I'm currently torn between going to a Manics gig this Saturday or seeing Doves play their 'final' UK gig at the warehouse project in Manchester. This all hinges on the likelihood of the Doves not actually touring again in the future, and making their indefinite hiatus a definite breakup. What do you reckon? And what the hell would you do?? (If you're not a fan of the Doves it is irrelevant, just substitute one of your favourite bands..

Can't believe I'm recommending a band over the Manics but it has to be the Doves gig innit - even if they don't break up, an indefinate hiatus suggests that they won't be about for a couple of years at least.
