Octopus camoflage

Did anyone watch "Inside Nature's Giants - Giant Squid" last night. Pretty fascinating, but the most amzing thing about it wasn't the squid, it was the video they showed of octopus camouflage. I managed to find it on youtube

Watched it yeah, really good series, although I tend to switch off for a while when they start hacking up the animals, last nights surgery was a tough watch.

I agree about the calamari rings though!! Bit of oil, garlic and chilli. Hell yeah!!

I love it when a programme has me sitting there with my jaw almost to the ground in awe (the last Steven Hawking episode had me almost needing a cold shower it was that awesome!)

That octopus camouflage was ace. I was shouting at the screen 'where's the bloody cuttlefish'??? Ok so an octopus emerged but fook me, stunning. AND the dead squid earlier and their still functioning chromatophores was pretty amazing too.

I am sucker for cephalopods!
