I'm looking at building a pc tower mainly for photoshop, video editing and possibly usuing ableton music software. anybody who builds pc's give me a bit of advice.

Would this motherboard, processor, psu and ram be sufficient and are they all compatible? Or would i need something else?

its a computer with a 1080p capable monitor. sure the graphics card is fine.

it's doing my nut in.

*edit* it even does it when changing from 360 to 480, or whatever the numbers are.

its this one an all in one. dunno a lot about graphics card but they're not going to have a monitor like that and pack it with a shit graphics card. anyway, that's irrelevant, cos it plays videos in 360p if that's what it gives you when it loads. yet it won't let you switch and watch in 360p if it loads up as 240p.

just tried in ie, and it seems to let me. so firefox is the problem. bollocks, might need to change to chrome then.

Firefox has gone a bit shit recently. Crashes a lot when I'm watching videos these days.

and, (even though you've found the problem now) I wouldn't assume that just because the monitor is flash it has a decent graphics card. Especially if you got it from Currys/PC World.

edit: Looked it up. It's a Intel Graphics Media Accelerator HD HM55. It piggybacks the RAM, nothing special but not shit.
