The latest version of flash has hardware accelerated video and is causing problems for lots of people. Right click on any flash object, and select "Settings" then de-select "Enable hardware acceleration"

For some reason "Settings" is grey'd out on you tube videos, so go here and do it on the banner at the top of the screen

It could be at least partly your internet connection (not your wireless - but BT or Sky or whoever it is sending it to the house). Obviously the bigger the video you're watching, the more bandwidth it needs.

I do agree with the firefox/flash ideas above though - i've had a lot of crashes lately.
