dvd/bluray burning software

Still the best advise? :P

I have no need for burning, encoding, transcoding, copying files, using USB pens,etc..

I just simply turn on the PS3, browse to the file, stream the download from the NAS box (which even downloads the torrents for me overnight with no PC/Laptop being on)m, straight on to my telly B)

Not bad for £90 (even better I only paid £30 for it as had £60 in free vouchers from my Valued Opinions account) :D

i saw one for £75. so how does it work? what does it actually play from? i only have my laptop (which is too slow to run a film like that)

tried burning the file to a dvd and didn't work. no sound and the playback was shite. perhaps cos the discs are old, but i doubt it. and all my files are in that format (mp4) so not going to bother trying.

ach well, sky movies for me

Right, this is how I do it.

I download my avi file from where-ever. Generally I download 700MB avi files, or occassionally 350MB avi HD television shows. Dexter for example.

Using DivX Player 6.8.2 - there are newer ones avaiable, but I like this one - I import the files to the DivX.

It uses something called FREE EASY BURNER which I had to install.

I select about six or so files that I've downloaded, and drag them onto the blank DVD icon.

I buy ten blank DVD-Rs from Asda for three quid.

I press burn, and ten minutes later the disc has like six films on it.

I put them in my DivX DVD sony player which cost me forty quid.

I watch them.

It works.
