Stage timings

It has a slight variation with each stage (and I am guessing you mean the main stages as there are 45+ on site!)

The Pyramid can open as early as 10.20/10.30am and goes on until 00.30 at the very latest.

The Second Stage I think has a slightly later open time but similar shut down (although last year it was the first to close compared to the other two outdoor main stages).

The Jazz again, similar.

Most of the main venue stages close no later than half midnight but then elsewhere on site there are dance tents open until the wee hours and obviously Shangri La and all the other east end activities go on well into the night.

Bez's Acid Disco was open until 4am but there are rumours it will stay open until 6am next year. We came across other music areas still just about going later though.

All in all, you will be hard pushed to find something going on from 5 in the morning music wise but by mid morning everything is alive and well again everywhere on site.

Its not quite the 24 hour city it was in the mid Noughties but from Wednesday evening until the sun comes up on Monday morning, you will find musical entertainment if you look hard enough :D And then there is all the spoken word and cabaret action too.

Yeah, the main ones โ€“ cheers for the info. As weโ€™ve decided amongst the 4 of us, weโ€™ll chose a few definites (on the main stages) we want to see then see where the vibe takes us for the rest of our time on site! I really fancy checking out the dance areas, Shangri-La, Arcadia, etc โ€“ guessing these tend to get the general thumbs up?

Really want us to make the most out of the whole experience โ€“ i already did the hard work in getting our tickets (which none of our group thought iโ€™d be able to manage :P ) so want to make sure i am fully knowledged up as i can be for a rookie, so the others love it just as much as i imagine i already will โ€“ info on here gets an A* from many contributors!
