suttons2008
Hello I was wondering what everybody thinks would be a good and popular type of food at festivals. Thank You
HurrahBrother
Well, Glastonbury is one festival where you are spoilt for choice. Every taste is catered for, except maybe cannibals, zombies and vampires!
suttons2008
Hi I only posted this in Glastonbury as I didn't know which other category to put it in. This post is for all festivals.
grumpyhack
At the Trowbridge Village Pump last year they had a Pudding Stall. Thirty or so different puddings from profitereoles through Black Forest Gateau to fresh fruit salad. Went down a storm. Also still don't reckon you can beat a good Indian Veggie Curry. Check out Suresh's stall at Glasto on the bridge at the entrance to the JazzWorld (sorry I can't cope with the name change).
redmosquito
We saw a wine a cheese being sold out of an old citroen van when we went to see The Who at Harewood House. You got a choice of cheese, some french bread and a glass of wine for about £5. She's looked for something similar at every other festival we've been to but we've never seen anything like it elsewhere. From the amount of people munching wine & cheese that day though it looked pretty popular.
LusciousLucy
I take a good note of food stalls at the festies and to be honest, there are not that many niches left to fill. I particularly liked the addition of the Mash Shack to the throng this year (shame the sausages were not up to scratch!) A Marmite themed stall possibly? That's not been done yet. I think they might be missing a treat there! Someone get onto their marketing department!!!

eoinca
Quality of food at glasto was incredible! The vegetarian fajitas in the mexican place were amazing! Only complaint I had was that the crepes were terrible. Tried a few different ones and they were all horrible.
