omskus
I've started developing apps for the iPhone - I scrape my way past in life. I recently developed this - The game has been out for a few weeks and hasn't been selling well. No one else has done this on iPhone before (maybe not on any system). I've been offered what my valuation on the development time is for the rights to buy the game from me. Its a decent wedge of cash. I wouldn't believe that the concept of that game in patentable so I would imagine clones could appear. Take the money and walk away or stay around and watch it be a hit? RABun
When my ex was looking into getting an app developed he was quoted between 5 and 8k to develop it. If they have offered you that much, take it then develop something new as you have the skills now you can make more developing and selling on or even charging for your development time than you can selling the apps, unless you get an angry birds or something. sifi
That's really cool. Can you import pictures in from the photo library? My nephews would love it. Edited October 26, 2010 by sifimaster

windy_miller
Ask yourself why its not sold as much as you'd like. Have you done anything to promote it? If not, can you be bothered? If not, take the money and run. A friend of mine developed an app for the iPhone and he put loads of effort into promoting it and has made some money off it. You need to get yourself into the featured apps section.
st dan
I'd suggest that you try and keep hold of it until after Christmas if you can. I say this because people all over the world will be getting iPhones/iPads/iPod Touches etc for Christmas. And when i got mine the first thing i did was to go crazy and buy loads of apps. If you dont see an increase in sales around this time then you probably would be best selling it if you aren't generating sales. I like the idea though .. Very cool indeed
