Hop Farm Festival 2011 !

But you have to remember this is a new festy!!it a learning curve for the people that run hop farm,think it will be a lot better organized this year,

Vince Power has been running festivals for over 20 years, he doesn't need a learning curve.

The festival had issues, the main one being the queues and the water supply issue on the Saturday.

I've heard a lot of views like this and it's weird because I went on the Saturday and didn't find there were any queues at all really. Obviously some water taps were quite busy, but we wandered about 5 / 10 minutes further and found a few empty ones. Or was this all inside the camping area?

Songkick are telling me that Morrissey, Lou Reed and Iggy Pop are also on the bill. One would assume that, if true, they're making up the Saturday line-up. Very tempted by that day if it all comes true.

That's an incredible line-up if true. And yeah, that has to be Friday, because DCFC are playing with Foo's at MK on Sat.

Fantastic line-up IMO, especially if that Saturday schedule is right enough. Such a variety of acts.

I think it's great too that festivals are managing to keep such big acts under wraps nowadays. Noone, including eFest's seemed to have a clue on this one, and it sure was a nice surprise!

I would suggest the leaked Saturday line-up is correct, as I 'suggested' those artists on their Facebook page and they then deleted my comments and blocked me... Lovely.

last year? lest year was great in my eyes! i mean, the line up was great, the food was not too bad, the camping was alright, on the hole, Great festival!

I think they had a similar thing at latitude and it seemed to work ok from my non-drinking view.

Hurry hurry hurry with the lineup! I've had enough with leaks this year, I want some confirmations!

(thinking / conspiracy cap on - between this, Glastonbury and Kendal Calling are leaks becoming the new way to announce?!)

Everything about last year was spot on for me (especially pete doherty) appart from the massive problem of getting a drink, really hope they sort it out. I've seen bigger beer tents at a village fayre. And just the one little problem of people having deck chairs and picknick benches bang in the middle of everything infront of the main stage. Roll on the saturday line up announcment!
