MK Bowl - accommodation nearby?

Managed to get Foo Fighters tickets for July next year and now i'm looking to book somewhere to stay but i've never been to Milton Keynes before so any advice on booking somewhere near the Bowl would be great.

I had the joy of seeing the outskirts of MK through the coach window on the way up to the wedding at the weekend. Was thinking about you and where you would stay. I didnt see much but it wouldnt surprise me that there's plenty of places near to the Bowl. It was roundaboutcentral which probably translates into Premier Inn and Travelodgetown

Travel Lodge is by the Bowl and Premier Inn best way!

Couple of great B and Bs as well

All about 2-3 miles away but so easy to get to the bowl from there!

I stayed in the Jury's Inn in MK a couple of times cheap and rubbish, just like MK itself.

Quick check and seems PremierInn and Travelodge both full for that weekend, it does give you alternatives a bit further out of town.

Juct checked Jury's Inn they still have rooms avaialble but they have jumped from £52 to £146 for that weekend.

Managed to book into the Travelodge at Bedford Marston Moretaine which is about 10 miles away but is the cheapest I can get at £70 for the room. It's flexible so i'll keep an eye out nearer the time and see if anything closer comes up. I am not paying £100 a night!

At least I'm not going to end up in the back of my car!

Its a little way out, and have no idea if it would work for you with transport, but could this be a possibility?

MK Bowl is the worst place for nearby accomodation in the country. Donington comes a close second, but is saved by the fact that donny usually has camping.
