Dear Friends,

If you live in London, 23rd November is not a night to stay in...

Following the release of his debut album 'Paupers Field', his sold out UK gig at the 100 Club and show stealing appearance at End of the Road this summer, Dylan LeBlanc will return to the UK to play London's Dingwalls on Tuesday 23rd November.

20-year-old Dylan LeBlanc is a rare breed. Despite his age, his worn yearning voice already has the mark of experience. Dylan was practically raised in Fame Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama (where his dad was a regular player), the legendary studio where Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett, Percy Sledge, Aretha Franklin, Dan Penn, Etta James amongst other greats recorded. Dylan's music has a unique, timeless quality that suggests he has soaked it all in.

Our friends at Eat Your Own Ears present...

Born Ruffians + The Acorn @ Scala, Wednesday 24th November

Born Ruffians sound is a soul-tinged yet tightly-wound affair, the parts fitting together like a clattering machine bonded by a combination of kinetic energy and unshakeable confidence, all foot-stomp and holler.

The Acorn (an End of the Road favourite, as you probably know already) effortlessly and uniquely marry modern and traditional folk, with a live show of levity and spontaneity. Swathed in Talk Talk-esque spaciousness and atmospheric feedback reminiscent of the tranquility of the country, and sodium-lamp lit romance of city nights.

Tickets £10.50 from: http://www.ticketweb.co.uk

And last but not least, our friends at the ICA are putting on a few shows that they thought we might like:

The ICA presents: HTRK & Theo Adams

Discover the experimental tech-noir sounds of HTRK (formerly Hate Rock Trio), showcasing new songs from their second unreleased album on 26th November, during ICA's weekend of live art, 'Against Gravity'.

Then on 18th and 19th December, London's most intriguing performance artist Theo Adams combines elements of theatre, retro glamour and queer theory for the intensely dramatic UK premiere of 'Cry Out'. Find out more and book tickets at:

Have a great week.

Cheers,

The End of the Road Team

PS. Don't forget the End of the Road Festival Christmas Shindig on 16th December, we can't wait: Archie Bronson Outfit + Singing Adams + more
