Lowlands 2011

If you are considering Lowlands festival, you'd better hurry. Due to a VAT increase on culture next year, tickets will go on sale next week alrady: pre-sale starts November 26, 2010, 11am CET (10am GMT). Last year Lowlands sold out in just eight days with only a handful of acts announced and if the buzz is correct it will not be much different this year. Tickets are 165 euro including service costs, camping, parking and shuttles.

Lowlands 2011 will be held 19,20,21 August 2011, camping opens Thursday the 18th and closes Monday the 19th (terrain must be clear at noon). Food and drink prices will remain the same, the price of coins ("munten") remains 2,50 euro.

Lowlands is known for its friendly and bizarre atmosphere, few incidents, progressive lineup and 24-hour facilities (although solely on camping side of the area between 5am and 11am). And of course crazy yet laidback Dutchies!

Can someone tell me is this a pre sale that has sold out, or is it the whole thing?

It's the whole thing sold out, although they have occasional re-sales of returned and cancelled tickets from time to time. These are usually announced a day or so beforehand but tickets always fly out within minutes. Keep an eye on Twitter for any announcements, the guy you need to follow is called Rapid_Razor_Bob.

The tickets were sent to me as E-tickets in PDF form which I will either send via post (for no extra cost) or via email (whichever is preferred) upon receiving payment.

I bought each ticket for £180 inc booking fee

All tickets guarantee a spot in the free of charge camping area from Aug 18-22
