Who said that? With their respective bands not being huge successes and Doherty constantly skint meant they were always going to cash in at one point but all the Libertines put together have less of an ego than Morrisey.

People were constently saying it before they were announced last year.

Anyway The Cribs are on a two year break if i'm correct. Morrissey hasn't done much for a while, again if i'm correct. And as Marr said "stranger things have happened". I admitt it's unlikely and i was slightly joking when I said they'd play next year. But you shouldn't really be saying "Not a chance" unless you're real pally with any of the band.

Not many people. A Libertines reformation of some sort always seemed pretty likely. A Smiths reunion never has. So, I don't agree with the comparasion.
