Doesn't Jamiroquai have an awesome stage set up/light show to bring? Would it be shipped to Bestival if he does? If so I wouldn't mind a bit of that, be good for a boogie.

I won't criticise. I know he's an ego and the latest album ain't great, but I just think the band is so damn funky

Not sure how anyone can argue about certain things, like Canned Heat, Virtual Insanity, Cosmic Girl, Rock Dust Light Star, Feels Just Like It Should, (Don't) Give Hate A Chance, Love Foolosophy, Little L, Deeper Underground, Space Cowboy, Emergency On Planet Earth etc etc etc being massive tunes, whether you like them or not

3 No1 albums, 2 No2 albums, a No3 and a No7 album plus 25 Top 40 singles (9 Top 10).

Jamiroquai aren't a manufactured pop-band though, it's a completely different situation

but you were using the amount of numbers they had as reason for them being a good band. the two things don't really follow. i'm not doubting that jamiroquai deserve their fans, just saying that, personally, i find them massively irritating.

Argghhh Just realised I am meant to be in a training thing in Dundee the Tuesday after Bestival - I had booked travel lodge tickets for the Monday just outside Southampton. Really dont fancy doing on Isle of Wight to Dundee on the Monday.

Black Eyed Peas would be utterly horrendous. I'd go home early if they were playing

Kanye would be great but I can't see it happening, same for Arcade Fire who would be my personal preference

Sorry if he's been suggested / ruled out before, but could Adam Ant be a possibility? Maybe a bit risky, but I can't think of many bands playing festivals this summer who would tie-in with the fancy dress theme much better...
