Read the Times of Grace thread - they're a side project, the former singer of KSE and two current members. So no chance KSE will be doing anything, as Times of Grace are doing all the summer Euro fests

Come on Scottie you know they're gunna want to do them all, when does a side project and the regular band play the fests together, its one or the other. KSE haven't released anything, but Times of Grace will want to promote their album, doing US tour Feb - March. Doing the Euro fests is the best way to do Europe for a lot of bands, seems like thats what REM are gunna do with their new album too.

If Soundgarden are announced on the Friday, it's gonna make up for me missing FNM on Download 09, two of my favs.

But i'll be gutted because Korn are playing on the second stage also.

Havin KSE on again would definitely be overkill I reckon though they are a great band, Times of grace is very likely though I'd say.

As for the missing headliner or sub-headliner a band that hasn't been mentioned by anybody (and they are playin fests this summer) is the Black Crowes. Not into them myself but they were pretty big in their day.
