updates

Added Rob Zombie to Sunday Confirmed, after he self confirmed for that day on myspace

Dropped Whitesnake down from Strong rumour to rumour - reason beings they've announced European fests to go with the UK dates, its still possible they're playing Download, but im not so confident they are

Added Wolfmother as TBC after Andrew Stockdale the singer said they're returning to Europe June 2011 to make up for the dates they pulled out of June 2010

Pushed AlterBridge from Strong Rumour to TBC after seeing the Bassist tweeted that they wanted to play Download in 2011, and AC said he would book them

Right just been listening to Kerrang whilst in the bath

Played some great stuff, and all of which have got new albums out within the first few months of this year so could be wanting to play

Madina Lake

Skindred

Black Tide

Down

I'd like all four, Im not holding my breath on Down as they only played in 2009 so surely would get a good offer to do Soni instead

Black Tide played in 2008, I've not seen them but LOVED the first album, one of the tracks has B4MV featuring on it [well the singer], please let Black Tide be booked for this year

Skindred have self confirmed, nuff said

Madina Lake, I know what you're thinking they're shite. I thought the same but the new single they played, I was wow this is great stuff, apparently they've said this new album is the one thats gunna make or break them as a group and they're gunna be promoting the hell out of it even with one of the brothers all f**ked up after his beating, they still played Sonisphere last year, so I'd say they're ripe for playing Download this year, Im adding them to the rumours along with Black Tide.

Just noticed something of intrest

Foo Fighters are playing

Friday 10th pink pop festival in holland

Saturday 11th Isle of wight festival (just about uk)

Sunday - FREE DATE

on Foo Fighters web site they quote pink pop festival to cover 3 dates but on e festivals they are playing on the friday

Could there be something in this ??

Could they be the Sunday Headline act ?

If it was Foo Fighters, why wait?

Already announced two Milton Keynes dates, Isle of Wight, T in the Park, Oxegen, why would Download be waiting months to announce them as well, everyone would just be like yeah and...

and Foos are playing Greenfield festival on Thursday 9th June

So thats a fest on the Thurs, Fri and Sat, they surely won't do Download on the Sunday as well, 4 fests in 4 days.

I still think its Red hot Chili Peppers, makes sense to have them up on main against Rob Zombie on second.
