does the 3 day ticket include camping mean camping at the chalets the optimus alive site shows or is that a different ticket completely?

In previous years the 15 Euro camping price has been for you to pitch your tent for 3 nights at the Lisbon municipal campsite. There are chalets at the site, but not that many - definitely not enough for every festival goer to pay to stay in a chalet. I'm not sure how you would go about booking a chalet - first come first serve and paying a bit extra maybe?

The festival has been extended by a day, I already bought my ticket two weeks ago to include camping, does that mean i get camping for an extra day? or are they going to do 3 day passes and 4 day passes which would be a little bit unfair. theres seems to be a lot of money put into this festival. the headliners are massive compared to previous years.

not overly fussed by the coldplay addition. but the Foo's are a good enough draw. really loved this fest the first time i went so lookin to go back. although might opt for the super bock one if i can figure out how to travel to/from if i stay in lisbon itself!

We,ve been considering this festival because we had such a brilliant time the last time we were there - but neither of us is into Coldplay - however, I have always got the impression that our Portuguese friends are into Coldplay in a really big way ....

Hi,

this will be our first year at this festival, looking for a bit of feedback on previous years! Is there much to do outside the festival and are there many bars and restaraunts around! plus what has the atmosphere/people been like previously!! I have been to benicassim and EXIT just wondering how ther compare!

Thanks for the info carmo78. I think we're going to look at hotels in town instead, seems like transport is very good there anyway.

have to say having been there before transport to town is generally good if you want to die on a train rammed more than rush hour in London... the feste itself is SOOOOOOO commercial you can only buy beer or red bull there... pleasan t views with shuttle service to campsite... Headliners chose their time... so might not be last on

and it does rain in Lisbon so dont be fooled

Hi guys. Am thinking about heading over to this and was looking for a bit of advice! Was thinking about going to lisbon for a week and taking in the festival in the mean time. Anybody have any info on hotels and such in the area? Is the festival in the city centre. Any info would be really helpful. Thanks very much !
