Buffalo Soldier
New names announced, all local Belgian bands though (to celebrate the year without a government in Beglium, I think ). For those (most of you I assume) who doesn't know them, these are some very good bands: SX: Amatorski: Bony King of Nowhere: Steak Number Eight (-> one for the metalheads): www youtube com/watch?v=AKtZfGsKy2c Wallace Vanborn: youtube com/watch?v=4FagumysBb0

DDave
As I'm not going, I'll be cancelling my room at the Portmans in Hasselt. If anyone wants it, let me know and I'll ring up and change the names into yours. Its a triple room from the Thursday till Sunday for 110 Euros a night, so 330 altogether. Stayed there last year, only not going due to the piss weak line up, which aside from a few additions, is still massively disappointing. Nothing to pay until you get there, the hotel doesn't even require a credit card number. thanks Dave
BruceBuffer
So the two big names have not materialised. Has anyone any info on what else we can expect in terms of further additions to the lineup?
johnybegood
The two names were an invention of a stupid girl in the official forum. Hope to see her in the festi... I think 4 o 5 more names TBA and smaller bands for filling the gaps in the stages... Bullet for my Valentine have cancelled their european tour, so maybe a big rock-punk-metal band can be added to fill their gap in the Shelter Stage
johnybegood
Confirmed: BFMV cancel their european tour. Tribes also cancels their PP show. Chase&Status and some minor bands added to the line-up
TheNewUnion
Just trawling through the lineup now and checking some of the bands on YouTube. There is some great stuff hidden away. Listened to Foster the People, Rival Schools, Mayer Hawthorne (who I've heard before but is ace), The Subs, School is Cool (very impressive), Customs (again, excellent) and oddly, Kiss The Anus of A Black Cat who are surprisingly listenable. Hoping to discover lots of stuff this year. Also, spotted British Sea Power on the line-up. Don't recall them being there before so hoping it's not a mistake. johnybegood
Since line-up has been announced the efestival pukkelpop forum is dead... totally different to past years... If organization knows that the festival is gonna be sold-out for sure, quality of the bands gets lower and lower... for expample... look Lowlands line-up... it sucks.... Hope that next year pukkelpop will be similar than 2009 and 2010....

londonlax
The stages are up. Looks like some nasty clashes I hope it looks better when the set times come out.
TheNewUnion
There are some great bands playing small stages. Lykki Li, Friendly Fires and British Sea Power all playing The Club. As is/are Little Dragon. Looking forward to Kills & Horrors in Marquee. Suicidal in The Shelter could be immense! Oh and clashes permitting I'm hoping to do the "Double F triple threat" (Friendly Fires, Foo Fighters, Fleet Foxes). TheNewUnion
New names! Kasabian Slaughterhouse The Knux Cheri Bomb I'd say Kasabian are the "big" name that people have been waiting for. Nice to see them still dropping names though, maybe one more big one? Go on, you know you want to.....

TheNewUnion
Fair enough. I'll be honest, we're already flapping about clashes and we've not even seen the stage times yet. So, much to see Saturday in The Dance Hall it'll be difficult to leave, at all. The 1st 7 bands, I'd happily watch back to back.
londonlax
Kasabian are a good addition for Saturday. Really want to see the set times now though to work out the clashes.
TheOffspring
Yeah, it is time to work out my time schedule. So Pukkelpop give it to me baby.
Semprini
Saturday tickets are now all gone so the festival is completely sold out. There's also mention of a few more acts to come but Slaughterhouse have pulled out. Festivalinfo are saying that you can only order food and drink tokens until 31st July, if you want to save 3 euros on each pack of 20. They will be 2.50 euros each on site and you have to buy a minimum of 4 at a time.

Semprini
Timetable is up!! On the whole I'm pretty pleased but there are (of course) a couple of nasty clashes that I'm disappointed about. The Streets and Friendly Fires on Thursday will be a difficult one to call and Sub Focus and SBTRKT overlapping on Friday is a complete pain in the arse. Saturday has the most for me by far though: Breakage vs Yuck, Azari and III vs The Joy Formidable and Etienne de Crecy vs Matthew Dear are three of the worst but some of them also clash with the likes of Emalkay, Danny Byrd, Untold and Pearson Sound b2b Ben UFO. I like the fact that the Ed Banger all stars will be finishing off the Boiler though, especially as it's until 2am!!
pryce
worst clashes for me Bloody Beetroots / Deftones Sebastian / Lykke Li Kasabian / Stromae Wild Beasts / Horrors Joy Formidable / British Sea Power but all in all ... got my days planned out and very happy . mid friday is probably the weakest part of the weekend for me
londonlax
I'm fairly happy with that timetable actually. There are a few clashes I can't avoid but it looks like I will get about and see most of what I wanted.
