Being patient, but it's getting to the point where everyone has announced. Even Glasto who are notoriously coy about releasing names have given up the head-liners already.

I think we know it's Foo Fighters, and there are a few names kicking about that have self-confirmed (full list of self confirms would be good) but everyone is hungry for some names. I'm 99.9% going so don't know why I'm holding off booking flights, just seems like I shouldn't spend the money until I know who's playing (Glastonbury is the obvious exception to this rule).

Come on Pukkelpop, help us out here!

the only reasoning especially if it is the 26th must be that they have a huge suprise act who dont want to be announced by then ...

but who would just play PP ? the only other headliner i can see free is the last Rock En seine headliner

and is ther another lowlands headliner?

but anyway ... getting really impatient now, but i suppose gives me another pay day to save

Why is everyone so impatient? Relax, it will be brilliant whoever is coming, big names or no big names (in fact, as mentioned before, for me, the fewer big names the better).

Just out of interest, I did some digging on the first announcements of recent Pukkelpops:

2007: First names Monday May 7

2008: First names Tuesday April 22

2009: First names Monday April 6

2010: First names Tuesday March 30

Now I'm no statistician, but I don't see anything there that tells me this year has been delayed in any way. Nor do I see anything that tells me the announcement has to be made on a Tuesday (as some claim) because that's when (major sponsors) Humo magazine is published.

Edit: messed up my days of the week, but the point remains the same...

Pukkelpop has always announced the lineup later then other festivals, last year was different because of the 25th anniversary, it'l come soon.

Judging by all the other festivals around the time of PP we can pretty much guess a big chunk of the bands anyway though. Obviously official confirmation would be nice;)

I doubt PP will get a Europe exclusive, as far as I know they haven't ever done that?

you do know anyone can add things to a festival on last fm?

but i would love Daft Punk .... could easily play at PP and headline like they are heavily rumoured to do so at Rock En seine the week after

and im glad we now have a date!
