Erol Alkan returns to Bugged Out at Sankeys for the first time since

2008. Erol will be rounding off one of his most prolific years ever,

his Avalanche track with Boys Noize is one of our tunes of the year

(listen out for the Jarvis Cocker version) and his remixes for

Chilly Gonzales and Connan Mockasin are amongst his career best and

his Phantasy label goes from strength to strength. Erol had a

residency for Bugged Out at Sankeys back in 2002 so it’s great to

have him back in the club. People Get Real and Will Tramp! Support

and up in Spektrum you’ll find the Prince of dubstep Joker with MC

Nomad.

Disco Electronica – Ilario Alicante

Whilst most people are wrapping up warm and keeping out of the cold, Disco Electronica are bringing a line up to thaw even the coldest winter chill. Kicking off the xmas party season at Sankeys is Cocoon resident, Ilario Alicante who debuts alongside UK techno star Reset Robot and longstanding Sankeys residents OD Muzique IIlario, found fame after his latin infused, masterpiece - Vacaciones En Chile, which became an anthem everywhere from the terrace of DC10, to Panorama bar in Berlin. Follow this with Cocoon favourite, Living Near Africa and house bomb, Don’t stop on Nick Curly’s, Cecille label, and you can see why Ilario, has become a favourite with artists such as Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, Ricardo Villalobos, Raresh & Luciano. As a DJ Ilario gained a reputation as a child prodigy, after becoming the youngest dj to star at the infamous Time Warp Rotterdam in 2008. Fast forward to the summer of 2010 and some amazing performances on the terrace for Cocoon at Amnesia, and a regular addition to Circo Loco’s house era revolution at DC10 have confirmed his place amongst DJ lands elite. Adding is Disco Electronica favourite tech house android Reset Robot, who since his last spellbinding Sankeys performance has enhanced his growing reputation with quality productions on Get Physical, Drumcode, Break New Soil and 100% pure. Add to this a new remix of OD Muzique’s, Dark Revolver planned for release on the new Disco Electronica Recordings imprint and you can see why we are excited to bring Reset robot back. Rounding off a full Christmas package are Disco Electronica founders OD Muzique who will be giving away 100’s of exclusive copy’s of their upcoming Systematic Sessions podcast, which see’s them star alongside the likes of Chris Leibing, Stacey Pullen, Kenny Larkin on Marc Romboy long standing label.
