Just watched this as it was past my bed time last night. Though I marched against the war and have been against it from the start I still like to think that politicians are still doing what they think is best but just have a different opinion of how it should be achieved and approach subjects like war in a naive way due to their inexperience in that area.

A program like this blows that all out of the water. The al jazeeri "accidental" bombing and attempt to silence legitimate journalism reopens questions for me such as David Kelly's "suicide" and how complicit many of those currently sat on the opposition benches were in that, the torture of suspects and the dodgy dossier.

The power of this shocked me even though i was fully aware of the myth of our liberal media (having recently read an outstanding book called Guardians of power, the myth of the liberal media)

Unfortunately most people i talk to don't want to entertain the idea or think about the gravity of the issues this documentary raises. It's hard to get people to read about this but 2 hours of your life to watch this is not a lot to ask. Recommend it to all.

It can be hard for some people to grasp but we live in a false reality peddled by TV and Newspapers and need to look beyond this to see through the lies, distraction and misinformation.

Finally got round to watching this. Interesting stuff.

It was nothing short of a stunning piece of journalism about the role of the media in war reporting.

It was a good polemical documentary, and it should be remembered that that is exactly what it was. It didnt provide a balanced point of view, but I dont think thats a problem because it wasnt supposed to.
