really? personally I thought it was a let-down after VR. according to his twitter they've just been auditioning for new VR singers so here's hoping that takes off again soon, although Weiland will be a big loss.

I find last year had a bit more variety for what I enjoyed, couple good metal albums (Between the Buried and Me, Mastodon, Alice in Chains) as well as Mos Def, TCV. Have to mention Grizzly Bear of course though.

Forgot to add Mariachi El Bronx to my list. Got the Robert Plant and Ray LaMontagne (or however it's spelt) for christmas, both very good
