I find it odd as well but plenty of people won't eat food because they don't like the look of it. Personally I'd eat nearly anything but I'm one of the most unfussy people you could meet.

I must admit I was more fussy as a child but the only thing I won't eat now is Egg Mayonaise. No need for it.

i can just tell from the ingredients and the look of it that i wouldn't like it.

You're right, it doesn't look pretty, and the recipe doesn't sound particularly nice. It is deceptive like that, as it does taste good.

My food highlight of Christmas was the gammon I did. Boiled first with Orange and Lime zest, some black peppercorns and some fresh parsley. Reduced down the juice from 2 oranges and 2 limes with some brown sugar and some finely chopped fresh chillis until it was good and syrupy. Then used this as the glaze for the gammon as it went in the over for 30 mins. Absolutely brilliant
