Don't Want To Camp

Hi.

I went along last year and stayed in a hotel in Luton. I drove to and from the venue each day - took about 30-40mins. I found the car park was busy, but it only took me about 10-15mins to drive off each night... and the trip back to the hotel was traffic-free.

I found it was certainly a good alternative to camping!!

2009 we stayed in hotels in London near Kings Cross Station, and trained in and out each day, bout a 30 minute train journey to Stevenage and the shuttle buses ran you to the fest from the train station. But we did have to leave before the end of the sets each night just to make sure we got to the shuttle buses, if you wait until the actual end you may not make it to the last trains back to london, but they did say they would be running trains later just for the fest, didn't fancy chancing it though. Also we missed most of the first bands each day too as the shuttle buses were incredibly slow to get going, but it was their first year doing it in 2009, no idea if it was any better last year as i was in staff camping.
