New efestivals radio show launching tonight 7pm

For those of you who haven't listened to efestivals radio before or the tiny minority who may have listened to my Glastonbury show last summer, we're launching a new show "The Mixtape" from 7-9 every Monday. Tonight's show is a bit of a trial run, while we iron out technical difficulties, try not to press the wrong buttons and find our feet again. Eventually the show will have a presenter (me), we'll be taking requests and there will be differently themed shows.

The basic premise, though, is recreating the beloved festival mix tape. I'll be playing as diverse a mix of music as possible and I'm very much open to any requests.

You can listen at http://radio.efestivals.co.uk from 7-9pm tonight. Please do leave your requests here or in the chatroom later on, bare with us through any teething problems and enjoy the show. Let's chase some winter blues away - after all it's only five months 'til Glastonbury....

:) .

Just a reminder, if you haven't used efestivals radio before - you can tune in at http://radio.efestivals.co.uk. The chat room at the top of the page, under community, is also open if you want to give me your requests in there.

Happy listening folks. Five months to go... B)

Thanks for listening everyone. Really good listening figures tonight, considering it was a hastily-arranged test run. Hope those who 'tuned in' enjoyed it. I'm hoping to have a mic set up over the next few weeks and will be working on some new ideas. will be back next Monday at the same time 7-9pm at http://radio.efestivals.co.uk. See you then.
