I can do that here :P although it's more like walk to the coop, the spar, the green grocers, the chippy, the paper shop, the butchers, the bank that's only open 9-12 each day.

Whilst there it's walk to asda, boots, body shop, new look, wilkos, greggs, mcdonalds, cinema, pool? Gym, morrisons, sainsburies, chippy, ice cream place, aldi Etc!!

well we viewed three today,

we're not gonna move till march/april but we thought seeing a few would help us decide what we're really looking for...

they were all 575 and tiny, which i didn't like :(

BUT

the guy was really nice and gave us a few tips on areas to look for that suited what we want (a walk away from town centre, a lot of room, under 575)

we then went to 5 agents (all next door, how hand) and found quite a few that suited what we want :D

going for a viewing of one place that is 550 and has two double bedrooms and i can see my work from it :D

Dan, sometimes it is worth just walking about that area and seeing whats available and then enquiring about it.

When I started a new job a few years back on the south side of Glasgow, I looked about for a decent flat for ages to rent in the paper/letting agents etc.

Walking down the road my new work was on I saw a sign in a flat window to rent. Private let, no agents etc and I could see my work from the window too and was 50 yrds from the entrance :)

Stayed there for nearly 2 years before moving in with rollergirl 4 years ago.

WOOOooooooOoOOoOOOOO00000!!!

i now live in a lovely two up two down little house right next to Platt Fields park :D

we have a Marffice (Music / Art / Office), bedroom, bathroom, lounge, kitchen and playroom :D

slightly more then i wanted to pay, but 10x nicer than anything else we've seen :)

if anyone is looking for somewhere to live in manchester, i'm trying to find someone to fill my room in my old house. I lived there for 3 years and the room is a double double bedroom, which is awesome.
