FWIW, I think she writes decent catchy pop songs and apparently puts on entertaining theatrical shows. She's clearly a talented musician and as far as I have heard, a pretty decent but not world beating singer.

I agree she's a fashionista and last year's 'hot topic'' (things I tend to dislike) but despite that I feel she has merit that outweighs the shallow frippery. I may even go and see the set if nothing topped it.

I hated her so much. So, so much. Got dragged to see her at Glasto when she played... Got there just in time for Poker Face.

I quite like her now... I'd just dismissed her beforehand by only looking at the whole mainstream vibe she puts out. Silly me.

I've never liked her and I think some of her songs are really poorly structured, like Bad Romance for example, it has a really nice bridge to the chorus but other than that, it's pretty crap, the beginning is so annoying, up there with the likes of Willow etc.

Watching the videos it seems she has a very good voice but unfortunately with the mainstream style going for more electronic sounds it nullifies the quality of the singing voice, thus there isn't going to be a truly fantastic recording voice in the charts for a long, long time.
