Snowboarding

i tried this sport once at Ski Rossendale, which involved me falling down a hill of wet carpet over and over again....

last week i was convinced to try again, this time with a day lesson, on snow!

i have to admit, it was the most fun i've had in ages I went from not being able to move an inch to linking my turns and doing a 180 jump over a cone by the end of the day

now i keep thinking about it, i want to go to Snowbombing and i want to possibly spend less money on crap and more money on this awesome source of exercise/fun

It's fun but I much prefer skiing, I don't like the feeling of my feet being tied to the board. Also, broken wrists o'clock...

Definitely agree that you've done very well in learning all that in a day.

I absolutely love snowboarding. I had previous skiing experience and then got a chance to go snowboarding for two weeks at the army training camp. After a few days of learning the basics we were then doing slalom and bordercross (amazing!) Now I occasionally go to Milton Keynes for a bit of a ride and in the past have gone to their park nights.

Definitely want to go snowbombing soon as it looks pretty epic. And the mountains their are awesome.

I just tried snowboarding once and I admit, I suck on it. It is fun but to do all the tricks requires a lot of work. It looks easy seeing other do it but when you try to do the tricks yourself, you'll get crazy.

got myself a second hand snowboard for £30

just need to get the bindings now, which are expensivvvvveeeeeeee
