Soundwave Croatia 2011

I'm heading to soundwave this year and was just wondering if anyone had any first hand experiences of the festival.. the garden festival is held in the same place so anyone with any relevant tales from there would also be greatly appreciated.. basically i'd just like to know what the place is like, what the vibe is like, what customs are like, what the crowd is like, and how easy it is to obtain the party essentials..

I went for the first week of Garden festival last year before busing it over to Exit festival. Nice chilled out festival, I'd recommend getting proper accomodation nearby though. We spoke to a few folk who were camping and apparantly it wasn't the best (too hot etc), we managed to book a nice little cottage for £80 each for the week. The venue is awesome, right on the peninsula, beautiful sunsets and plenty on night swimming! There were more British punters than I had expected but also a good mix of locals and other Europeans as well. As far as party essentials go I would say take your own, we struggled to get anything and what we did get wasn't the best. Customs was straight through and everyone we spoke to had wish they had brought some supplies over. And on a related note, Croatia has the most beautiful woman I have ever seen, well worth getting a bus into nearby Zadar during the day and checking out the sights

Hey, i'm also going to soundwave this year, finding it difficult to get any accommodation in petrcane, are there buses between the festival site and nearby villages, towns etc? Doesn't look likely that we'll be in walking distance to festival
