First heard of them when Neon Bible came out (I was 12 when Funeral came out, it wasn't really the sort of thing I was into to be honest), and I hated that album. But over the next few months my music taste changed from the sh*t I liked back then into what I like now, and I gave both Neon Bible and Funeral a second chance. Never looked back since

Although I will miss the blank look on people's faces when I say that they're one of my favourite bands

Also, if KoL (The biggest band in the world in 09 without a doubt) were such a poor booking, why not watch faith no more instead?

And about Kings of Leon, while their music was pretty good, their attitude on stage was pretty shocking. Just watch sex on fire on youtube or something. I don't know if this applied to leeds, but this certainly happened at reading, and if they're acting as if they just don't want to be there then I don't think they can be considered to be worthy enough. I don't think they were a particularly poor booking, but they did a poor performance, like gnr

It surely couldn't have just been me on efest forums that wasn't bothered about Arcade Fire? I couldn't wait to see Pendulum (does that make me a knob?)!!! If it was anyone else I would have liked to have seen AF but only because my girlfriend likes them a lot & would have suggested it.

Muse were incredible at Glastonbury so would definitely shift day & weekend tickets.

I'm not going to read through this thread because it's probably full of people defending them and declaring how awesome they are. A bit like MCR really.

They're shit to be fair. They were great in the late 90's, now they are a characature of themselves playing Dr Who music, not quite Guns N Roses, but shit in a different way, like mind-numbingly boring.

So yes, I agree OP.
