But back to the original question, A pop up may save you some time setting up, but far better to have space and comfort. In my opinion.

I have a Quechua 4.2 as well and it's easily the best tent I've bought (and I've got quite a few!). Was always dubious about pop up tents and spent weeks deciding whether to buy one. Yeah, it's a bit of an awkward shape but doesn't weigh any more than a pole tent of a similar size. I just bought a sack trolley to put it on and the tent bag's big enough to put in any extras I can't fit in my rucksack. Was a godsend at Reading last year when we were putting the tents up in the pouring rain.... mine was up in 5 mins and completely dry while we got soaked to the skin putting up everyone else's dome tents which were wet through.... everyone camped in my tent the first night while their's dried out inside! Someone camped next to us in the Quechua XXL 4 man tent and it had a really decent sized porch/living area.

i see so many people at glastonbury with pop - up tents, some of them are quite decent aswell
