They'd be brilliant anywhere. It looks like they won't be headliners but they've surely got to be either higher up than 3rd (basing that on being 3rd before Jamie T & Faith No More in '09) or main stage during the day. That's IF they are playing.

Thinking about it, 3rd was pretty high up. Big crowd there too (as big if not bigger than Jamie T, he didn't sound too great due to a sore throat) although I think Kaiser Chiefs drew a big crowd at the same time that year.

I dont see friendly fires as the type of band whos second album will flop as they arent really reliant on mainstream support to define success or failure. However for the same reason its unlikely to be a huge hit either.

Just finished playing R1BW, only played a few songs but were bloody incredible. Lots hope it's sunny on Sunday for a dance. Highlights/whole set should be put up on R1s website later & will inevitably end up on youtube.

Very big fan of Friendly Fires, I was really excited about their booking, seen them before and they're incredible. Looking forward to what the new album will be like and hearing the first album songs live again.
