Suede... what are the chances?

Suede seemed to have joined the reformation band wagon since last charity gigs and are steadily announcing gigs and festivals.

Wonder what the chance of the appearing in the R&L bill are.

They are doing Coachella and a festival in Spain so far. I'm sure they wuld love a UK festival payday.

With them not appearing at T, Glasto looking very unlikely as they will want a high billing and V looking unlikely because it is V, probably only leaves R&L and Latitude.

Not sure if they will still have the pull for a headline slot and they would certainly have to go in the NME.

Bit of a long shot, but I hope so.

No logical indication to suggest that they might but they would be a popular choice and would likely headline the NME tent.

Correct, it leaves Reading and Leeds, Latitude and Bestival.

Reading and Leeds won't have them - as much as we know how great they'd be - because they're just not a viable act to book. The crowd would be a disaster for a band as respected and as good as Suede. If Latitude starts aiming itself at the 25 to 35 crowd again, Suede would headline for sure, but my money is on a place like Bestival poaching them if they can. Would be a good booking for sure.

I dunno, most things seem to be pointing to them not playing but I could still see them headlining the NME. They wouldn't get the best of crowds but I still think it'd be a good booking for the festival.

I think from what Jon Dunn said Suede, Nutini, and the National are exclusively theirs- ie Mean Fiddler's.
