im trying to pay the balance on my tickets, but keep getting an error message saying "one or more registration numbers has not placed a deposit". The deposits deffo came off my visa card, have the bill in front of me. Anybody else having this problem? Phone lines to see tickets of course are jammed

WHat worries me now is that I went through the steps yesterday evening (my time, GMT-5), everything went well. There were no error messages, both registration numbers were found.

Now... the charge doesn't appear on the credit card, credit is still available (so no hold was placed), no confirmation number of any sort was given, no other info from Seetickets. Now when I try to go back and check the status, it says that there's no error, and perhaps no deposit was received (paraphrasing). Oh, and when I log-in to view order details, it only shows the deposit. Is there a human that sits there and manually processes all this crap?

Is this normal or should I be worried?

I'm having the same problem also. It says "may be waiting on payment for your deposit" or words to that effect. Went through fine and said it would be emailed etc (paid about 2pm Saturday Australian time) and have still received no email nor has the money been taken from my card. Friends of mine who booked on the same order have had their payments go through fine, and when I try to plug my card number/postcode etc into Seetickets it says there's no order under that.

Worried about this, particularly as noone seems to man their phonelines whatsoever. If it's a 24-hour hotline I think I've probably called at various points in most of those hours today.

I'd have liked to have paid in full back when they first went on sale, like we normally do each year. It would have been one less thing to worry about. I understand that the lack of that option this time around was probably due to Cameron's change in VAT (so that the poor can subsidise the wealthy).

I was getting this issue and it was a problem with my post code. We don't have them in Ireland so we just put in 0002, however I was trying with just "2" and it was failing. I rang htem up and they were very helpful.

Don't think it was that. From what I heard, you have to take out a fair whack of insurance to hold a large amount of money for an event for a long time before it happens, which would cost more than the interest made from the money held (given the current interest rates).

So it's cheaper for the festival if everyone hangs on to their cash until they actually need the cash in to spend it.
